This year's Chess Festival organised by the greatest female chess player of all time Judit Polgar, offers a full day family programme in the Budapest Palace of Arts. Children are invited to the lively Chess Palace, participate in interactive chess tutoring, competitions and arts & crafts. At the Chess Palace Promenade kids can personalise the tools of the Educational Chess Curriculum, including chess characters, crowns, flags and many more. After completing the playful tasks at the different stands, the chess money they earn can be converted into prizes. Once again, the children's favorite Chess Song will come to life on stage and a spectacular Chess Dance will be put on especially for this event. Naturally, chess will not only be present as an educational tool but also at the highest levels of the game, as the legendary Judit Polgar will play in various exhibition matches with the challengers. Like at the previous festivals, there will be well-known personalities, sportsmen, artists and scientists amongst the enthusiast participants.
Chess Festival 2014 welcomes everyone to this fun family event who likes the sport and arts, as well as parents who wish to introduce their children to Educational Chess.
