With the co-operation of several institutions LUMA centre created Millennium Youth Camp which targets the age group of secondary school students, i.e. the 16-19-year old, committed to science and technology. The key objective is to encourage the youth to seek answers to the most urgent questions of their society. Therefore, MY Campers work on issues to which science is expected to give a solution. This is how climate change and the use of the renewable sources of energy came to be included in the list of the project topic. During the one week long programme students acquire practical knowledge by visiting huge companies, researchers and scientists offer them an insight into the secrets of the latest researches.
Application period 19 October through 17 December 2012.
