GATE-Italy an Italian NGO organizes an international summer school in the beautiful city of Venice in July 2016. The ITC – International Talent Campus will receive gifted and high-achieving pupils and students of ages 10-18 from Italy and other countries. The program emphasizes personal as well as intellectual growth. It is an unforgettable study abroad experience, an opportunity to experiment, learn and grow, enjoying an international citizenship.

GATE Italy is a non-profit organization founded by parents, educators, psychologists, and university professors to support the emotional and educational needs of gifted and talented children. The organization has already received support and recognition from the University of Padova, The University of Venice, Università Cattolica in Milan, The University of Edinburgh, and Oxford University.

ITC offers a wide variety of courses taught in science (math, physics, chemistry, science and magic, space robotics, genetics, bioengineering, neuroscience, and astrophysics), and humanities (architecture, philosophy, history, critical thinking, creative writing, film-making, digital telling, cooking).

The participants may experience independence within a safe, supervised environment living in a campus for 2 weeks. Students will enjoy the usual perks of living in campus housing, but will also benefit from living with other gifted students who share similar interests. ITC residence has a live-in student resident assistant. Housing options include twin or triple (shared) rooms with bathroom, for students of the same gender.

They may enjoy a variety of fun social activities in the evenings and sightseeing to the wonderful city of Venice. A day trip to the city of Padova is included.
