The Foundation was established by Judit Polgar, chess grandmaster, Olympic champion, the world's most successful female chess player ever; the member of the Immortal Hungarian Sports Legends and the Ambassador of the Hungarian Talent in 2014.
With a special focus on chess, as an educational tool, the JP Foundation promotes pioneering cognitive skills development programmes and products for school-children. The Foundation organises large-scale public events promoting chess and learning, and it sponsors the development of innovative educational tools for the classroom and the digital world. A strong champion of equal opportunity, the JP Foundation supports novel learning programs for socially or mentally disadvantaged children.
