Step-net is a no-profit association and a network that offers support to gifted children and their families and represents a landmark for those who are interested in the issues related to giftedness in the Italian context.
Step-net works with the LabTalento of the Department of Brain and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Pavia, the only universitary centre for giftedness and supporting talent in Italy recognized for educational training by MIUR (Italian Department of Education). We collaborate with public institutions and foundations. The children and adolescents we take care of are certainly characterized by giftedness, but also by special needs that must be taken into account.
We address parents, teachers and experts so that it becomes possible - through the union of different forces - to promote the dissemination of educational contexts that foster gifted children's positive development and, consequently, the development of our society.
