In July 2020 the University of Connecticut, together with the Renzulli Center for Creativity, Gifted Education and Talent Development, will host the 43rd Confratute. It is a ”professional development conference and summer institute with a good deal of fraternity mixed in”, as the organizers defined the event that provides educators with research-based engagement and enrichment strategies for all learners. This includes the involvement of the gifted students by giving them opportunities to get the most of their talents in their schools while learning together with their peers.
The educators can deepen their knowledge on differentiation and enrichment, and in the meantime, they will be able to interact with other teachers from around the world. They can work together with well-known experts of the field, through hands-on, personal and highly engaging projects to learn more on how the Schoolwide Enrichment Model can make schools better places to develop for both teachers and students.
The event will take place between 12th and 17th July, 2020, and registration will open in February 2020. For further information, please visit the Confratute website.
