Dr. Lidiya Kavunenko is the Deputy Director and leading researcher of the Dobrov Centre for Scientific and Technological Potential and Science History Studies (STEPS Centre) at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
STEPS Centre specializes in strategic policy analysis and using fundamental (basic), applied and comparative research.
Research interests of Dr. Kavunenko include: research potential in Ukraine, research on the impact of science & technology on the socio-economic and cultural environment, networks for talented youth. She takes part in the international research projects. Dr. Kavunenko is author over 150 publications in journals and conference proceedings.
